ALS is estimated to affect 5 out of every 100,000 people in the United States. Between 15,000 and 20,000 Americans are estimated to be living with ALS in the U.S.
Doug “Mac” and I were in the same fraternity; Alpha Delta Phi at Miami University. A shout out for all their support so far! It has been amazing.
Brothers participating in the ride:
Rod McGregor (‘79) is joining me for the full 1,000 mile trek!
Fred Carmean (‘77) several days
Dick Wagner (‘80) several days
Neal Restivo (‘82) several days
Frank Marsico (‘79) 5 days
Jim Jorling (‘81) 3 days
All totaled Miami Alpha Delts are riding just over 3,000 miles! On some old legs I might add!
Just as important,
our van/car support; including Mac, Tim Hecker (‘79), Scott Golan (‘80), Rick Palumbo (‘81) and Jeff Wagner (‘81). And many other brothers who have made generous contributions to ALS and our fundraising efforts. A special shout out to Jim Venezia (‘78) who has been working hard to help raise funds!
